Voices of Hope: Bereaved Parent Advocacy Program

Support and advocacy for parents who’ve lost a child to suicide. This program includes:

  • No cost grief therapy
  • Peer-led grief support groups – Safe, nurturing spaces for bereaved parents and guardians to connect, share, and begin the path toward healing.
  • Storytelling and compassion-based advocacy training – Tools and guidance to help families become advocates for suicide prevention, resilience, and mental health awareness in their communities.
  • School and event outreach – Opportunities to speak in schools, panels, and events to share lived experience and reduce stigma surrounding suicide and grief.
  • Memorial storytelling projects – Guided writing, video, and creative arts initiatives to honor the legacies of children lost to suicide.
  • Postvention support toolkits – Resources for schools and organizations to support communities after a suicide loss with empathy and structure.

This program helps grieving parents move from heartbreak to healing, from silence to voice, transforming loss into meaningful action while honoring their child’s life and legacy.
