Art-Based Therapy Sessions
A creative, therapeutic program designed to help youth explore emotions, relieve stress, and strengthen emotional resilience through art. Guided by licensed art therapists and trained facilitators, students use drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and other creative forms to express feelings that are often difficult to put into words.
The program provides a safe, welcoming space where young people can process experiences such as anxiety, grief, trauma, or self-doubt through creative expression. Each session fosters emotional awareness, self-regulation, and empathy while reinforcing the values of kindness, compassion, and connection. Students will learn to:
- Express complex emotions through art and creative mediums
 - Develop coping tools to manage stress and emotional pain
 - Strengthen self-awareness and emotional literacy
 - Build confidence through creative problem-solving and exploration
 - Cultivate empathy and connection by sharing art and personal stories

The course integrates mindfulness, reflection, and guided discussion to help students connect with themselves and others through art. By merging creativity with compassion, participants discover that their emotions, voices, and stories hold meaning and value.
